Professor Nick Cutter

It had been several days later since they had been rescued, they had all been debriefed and now Cutter and Connor had moved back into their house to adjust before they made the move back to Fandom. It was early morning and they were finishing up breakfast, Cutter had made sure there were no berries in sight. It had been another week, Cutter and Connor were progressing well with their out patient therapies and he thought after how busy it had been lately that he would have a small get together with everyone. His kids had been wanting another playdate with Rex and he thought it would be the perfect way to do that and have everyone at the ARC over, for security reasons Nate wasn't coming and Sarah was still not up for much social interaction so she and Becker weren't coming but Abby and Connor were coming over with the Rex's and Jenny had said she would stop by for a bit and check in since she was still on her leave. Danny had gone to pick up his kids so he was finishing up making snacks for the get together. Cutter and Connor were resting on the couch, "it will be good to see everyone again," Cutter smiled as he waited for everyone to turn up. Another few days had passed and Cutter's nightmares had steadily been getting worse, the latest one seemed to involve Helen making a clone of him, which he couldn't remember anything about and it had left him really unsettled, he startled himself awake and it took him a few minutes to calm his breathing down to remember that he was at the hospital with Connor that Helen wasn't with them. It was a couple of days later and Cutter and Connor had been for their first physical therapy session, everything hurt. Cutter just wanted to get back in bed and not do this again. "Do we really have to do that again?" he asked as he and Connor were taken back to their room, even though he knew what the answer would be. Sarah and Becker had been taken to a cell and shoved in, she was trying to not be scared but she was afraid of Becker being hurt again, "Becker are you alright?" she asked softly, she had seen the heavy blows he had taken from Wilder. After all the formal celebrations and congratulations had been done, they settled into a wonderful buffet spread, the food was excellent and after a while Cutter was definitely starting to feel full. “I hope you’ve had a wonderful evening,” he smiled at Connor, “celebrating your graduation and now our engagement,” he still couldn’t quite believe that this was actually happening. A couple more days in the hospital and they'd finally been given the all clear to head back to Fandom. It would still take a bit of time before they fully recovered but they were now right to return to Fandom and get everything set up before their house arrest began. They had to be fitted with their monitoring devices. Cutter was rather nervous as he waited with Connor in Lester's office, after this they would be saying goodbye to everyone and heading back to Connor's flat to get set up, "I can't believe we're going back to Fandom," he said softly. Sarah had gotten up early and made breakfast for the team, once breakfast was over she waited in the living room for Connor so that they could begin exploring the safehouse properly and see what else was hidden away that might be useful if they needed to extend their stay there another week or so, "I thought starting here in the living room might be the best place to start, what do you think?" It had been two days since he and Becker had been rescued, had ended up at the safehouse and the team had found out exactly what had been done to them while they'd been prisoners of Christine and Wilder. The first day they'd mostly slept but now Danny was awake and really bored. He was also in a lot of pain but he was trying to ignore that. "Hey Becker, you awake?" he looked down the other end of the bed where Becker was resting. It had taken another couple of weeks but finally the press lost interest in Cutter and Connor, the stories eventually fizzling out and that meant that they could focus on the new anomaly prediction model. Cutter wanted to get more work done on the anomaly prediction model with Sarah, who had been made really good with the research and now that they were able to move freely to and from the ARC, he had been able to set everything up in the lab and begin attempting to work on putting past anomalies in place and then future ones he had begun to work out based on Sarah’s research. It was time consuming but it had been so long since Cutter had been engrossed in his work like this and he only became aware of other people when they tried to touch the anomaly prediction model. The only exception to his ‘no touching the anomaly prediction mode’ was Connor, who had been helping him with getting what supplies he needed. “I can’t believe we’re nearly finished with this,” he said excitedly as he looked up at Connor from where he was sitting on the floor underneath the anomaly prediction model.
