After all the formal celebrations and congratulations had been done, they settled into a wonderful buffet spread, the food was excellent and after a while Cutter was definitely starting to feel full. “I hope you’ve had a wonderful evening,” he smiled at Connor, “celebrating your graduation and now our engagement,” he still couldn’t quite believe that this was actually happening. Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Oh I think it's managed to be half decent" Connor said before breaking into a huge grin as he slipped an arm around Cutter. "I'm kidding- of course it's been amazing. Best day of my life. Two major steps in one day- and I get to celebrate it all with you. Graduation and our engagement. You have no idea how happy I am Nick." Well, maybe he had a small inkling.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter's smile widened as he leaned against Connor, "I'm glad I could celebrate these milestones with you, you deserve to be happy and I'm glad I can make you happy," he said, "can you believe it? We're going to be getting married," he said still in awe that not only had he proposed but Connor had said yes.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor held Cutter close and smiled as he looked down at his hand and the ring that was there on his finger. "I still feel like I am dreaming. But this is real. This is really real. We're going to get married!" Connor leaned closer and kissed the top of Cutter's hair. "I love you so much Nick. Thank you. For your love" he said as he gave him a squeeze. .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled happily at that, at the ring that was on Connor's finger, "I love you so much as well Connor and thank you, for making me very happy and thank you for loving me too,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I'd be a fool not to love you Nick. And that recent graduation proves such... I am no fool" Connor grinned as he leaned in a stole a quick kiss.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"You definitely aren't," Cutter grinned as he returned that kiss, "you're incredibly smart and wonderful and I love you so very much," he said happily.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as Connor leaned his head against Cutters and sighed contentedly. A moment later he pulled back at looked at him, slipping his hand in his and giving it a tug. "Come on.." he said softly as he gave a nod towards the corner of the room a gleam in his eyes as he looked at Cutter, "while the others are busy talking."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Oh I like the way you're thinking," Cutter grinned as he took Connor's hand, "let's do this," he said shyly as he looked quickly round the table while everyone was distracted.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor smiled and gave Cutter's hand a squeeze and let go as he stood from the table. And without drawing too much attention to himself he slipped away towards the far corner of the room and waited for Cutter to follow. From where they would be, the view of the table and everyone else would be pretty well blocked so they would be able to have at least a little privacy..
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter waited for a few more seconds once Connor had reached the far corner of the room and then he quickly joined him on the other side of the room, "this was definitely a great idea," he smiled once they had that extra privacy.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Aye, because I can finally do this" he said with a grin as he grabbed Cutter's shirt and pulled him close and kissed him hard, wrapping his other arm around his waist.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter happily leaned into that kiss, wrapping his arms around Connor's wait and returned the kiss just as passionately, soon enough the rest of the room and celebration faded away and all he was focusing on was being close to Connor and kissing his fiancé.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Oh yes that was very nice... fiance'... Connor moaned softly into the kiss and kept the kiss going as he shifted slightly and pushed Cutter against the wall.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter let out a moan as he leaned against the wall, keeping that kiss going as long as he possible could. He ran his hands up into Connor's hair and gave it a gentle massage as kissed him.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Breaking the kiss slightly Connor leaned into that touch and shivered. "Feels good"he whispered before he started kissing Cutter again, sliding one hand behind his back even as Connor pushed him against the wall a little more..
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter moaned into that kiss in agreement as he was pushed against the wall, "very good," he agreed happily, enjoying how nice all of this was as he kept massaging Connor's hair, "love you," he said and then kept the kissing going.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor deepened the kiss in response as he moaned with pleasure. Everything felt so good, so perfect, so right. He was with Nick,they were now engaged, and they had the rest of their lives to look forward to together. Connor didn't think he would ever be able to fully find the words for just how much he loved him... he just hoped Cutter knew and understood.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter definitely understood, he had never been so happy and now here he was with an amazing man that he was going to marry. He happily moaned into that kiss as he deepened it as well, everything was perfect and he didn't want this moment to end.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Everything else had faded into the background, the talking and laughing of their friends barely registering as his entire focus was on trying to remember every second of this moment that he could. He had graduated, he was going to start teaching, he was engaged, he was going to marry the man he loved, and he had never been happier. Slowly he reached his other hand up and grabbed hold of the tie Cutter was wearing since they had been semi-dressed up for the evening. Connor moaned into the kiss as he started to try and undo it, keeping his other hand wrapped around Cutter's waist.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter had one of his arms around Connor's wait as he kept kissing him as he moved the other one back to his tie to help Connor undo it, he had definitely forgotten that they were in a semi public place and all of their friends were in the same room but right then none of that mattered. He was here with Connor, they were together and they were going to marry and spend the rest of their lives together, that was what was important. He moaned into that kiss, not wanting this to stop.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor broke the kiss long enough to catch his breath and finish fumbling with Cutter's tie. With it undone he left it hanging around Cutter's neck and smiled as he looked at his fiance and smiled broadly. Everything else had definitely faded into the background as he leaned his head against Cutter's head. "Oh I could so get used to this..." .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter gazed happily at Connor, trying to catch his own breath, a red flush spread across his cheeks as he wrapped his arms around Connor and leaned against his Connor's head, "I could get used to this too," he murmured, "at least we have the rest of our lives to enjoy this right?"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Aye... and it is going to be amazing. I can't wait to live my life with you Nick." Connor's flush matched his fiance's as he smiled and kissed Cutter softly. He gently rubbed Cutter's back. "You complete me Nick, and I am so glad we can spend our lives together!'
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter leaned into his touch, "and you complete me Connor and I'm glad that we can spend our lives together, I'm looking forward to creating new memories with you," he said, smiling happily at Connor as he returned that soft kiss.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"So many memories. So much to do together. And I am looking forward to all of it" Connor pulled Cutter closer and shifted and turned as he leaned against the wall and held Cutter close.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Aye so many wonderful things to do together," Cutter smiled happily, "we can teach and go around the world on digs and its all going to be amazing," he said as he leaned against Connor's chest and imagined just how wonderful it was all going to be.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor smiled as he held Cutter close, hands slowly rubbing up and down his back. After a few minutes of just enjoying holding him like that Connor reached out and lifted Cutter's head and smiled at him."Love you Nick. Always. Forever" he said as he kissed him again passionately and pulled him close. .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"And I love you Connor, so very much, I will always love you," Cutter smiled at Connor and then leaned into meet his kiss, as he imagined their wonderful future together.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor moaned into the kiss as he ran his hands down Cutter's back then slowly slipped one up under his shirt, hand running up his back slowly and then down as he retuned the kiss hungrily.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter moaned and leaned into that touch as he just as hungrily returned that kiss, as he did his hand went up and down Connor's back, his hand running up into Connor's hair and massaging it as he did.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Somewhere in his head, Connor was reminded that they weren't actually alone. But as quickly as the thought hit his mind it disappeared as he slowly started to kiss down the side of Cutter's neck. He was here with the man he loved. That was all that mattered to him just then.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter let out a moan as Connor kissed the side of his neck, he had completely forgotten by now that they were still in the function room that it was possible that had people watching this but Cutter was enjoying this moment, celebrating the man that he loved and he didn't want this to end.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor moaned loudly and maybe that was what kept him from hearing the chance in the conversation in the room. The celebration had wrapped up and people were starting to get ready to leave, realizing the guests of honor were missing. .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter had not noticed that people seemed to be getting ready to leave, he was enjoying this moment with Connor and he did not want this to end. He moaned into the kiss, desperate to keep it going.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor finally broke the kiss, breathing heavily as he clung to Cutter. "Love you Nick" he whispered, unaware that Danny had broken off from the group to try and look for them. Connor reached up and laid one hand on the side of Cutter's face and looked at him lovingly before kissing him softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled as he gazed adoringly at Connor, "love you too Connor," he said, also unaware that they were definitely being missed right then, "I love you so very much,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Totally lost in the moment, Connor was enjoying the moment. And it was about that time, that Danny found them as he continued his search. He stopped for a moment and smiled as he saw Cutter and Connor. Deciding to not call attention to his presence, he headed back to the others and gave a small nod towards the corner he had come from and gave Becker a grin. "I think the boys need some time to themselves" he said to Becker as he gave a small wink.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter continued to enjoy kissing Connor, completely unaware that Danny had found them. Becker gave a smile at that, "I think we can buy them some time," he said, "I know we've still got a bit of time before the place closes,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Alright then, you guys can head out. I will stay behind and get our lover boys on their way when the time comes. I think it's best we not embarrass them too much" Danny said with a smile as he looked over to where Cutter and Connor were still completely oblivious to anything going on. Becker nodded and went to let the others know things were wrapping up, some small giggles coming from Abby and Sarah as they started picking things up to head off. .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter was very happy in the corner with Connor, completely oblivious to the party wrapping up or that people knew that they were otherwise preoccupied but this was all so very nice and he didn't the moment to end.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor had to agree, whatever might have been going on elsewhere could wait. Nothing was more important than what was happening right then right there. So he was continuing to enjoy just being with Cutters, enjoying this special moment in their lives. It wasn't until sometime later - how long was anyone's guess- Danny came back to the corner and cleared his throat, finally needing to break up the admittedly adorable makeout session. "Hate to break up your fun boys" he said with a small grin, though there was a very playful familiar gleam in his eyes. Connor actually let out a small yelp of surprise as he turned and looked at Danny starting there. Instantly his face went beet red.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter startled and then went bright red as well when he realised Danny was there and looked rather sheepish, "oh ...um...hey Danny ... is the party finished?" he stammered.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Yeah party is over... everyone's headed off" Danny said as he leaned against the wall where he was standing and looked at them with a laugh. "S-sorry... we didn't mean to disappear like that" Connor stammered as he reluctantly let go of Cutter and stood there, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "Hey you boys were having some fun, I can appreciate that" Danny teased. "But it is getting close to the end of the time we had this place reserved for. Figured you two would rather it be me interrupting things rather than the restaurant staff."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter looked equally sheepish, "uh ... thank you Danny for um ... being discreet," he said, which he knew was not something that Danny was not normally known for, "uh ... I...um... guess we took a bit longer than we anticipated..." he stammered.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Just a bit...." Danny said as he walked over and put his arms around them in a quick hug and started nudging them towards the door. "But that's what celebrations like this are for right? Going a little overboard? Now you two head off and take care of each other. Lester said to remind you both you got the rest of the week off as well and he doesn't want to see you at the ARC during that time!" Connor was trying to force down the flush he felt spreading over his face. He hadn't realized he and Cutter had gotten so caught up in everything. "Thanks Danny for... you know" he said with a somewhat awkward grin. .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter grinned at that, still very much flushing a bright red as they started moving towards the door, "uh tell James thank you for the time off, we should probably head back to my...our," he quickly corrected himself as he smiled over at Connor, "place,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Despite the flush there was no keeping the grin off his face at that as Connor nodded. "Aye.Our place. that has a very nice ring to it!" Connor reached out and took Cutter's hand in his, catching sight of the ring there and the smile only broader before he turned to Danny. "Tell the others thank you, for making this such a wonderful night and a great celebration" he said. "It's our pleasure. we're glad we can celebrate with you. Now go on- get out of here" he said as he shooed them out the door.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter couldn't help but laugh as Danny practically shoved them out the door and they got in the car that was going to take them home, he smiled over at Connor, his cheeks still red from both how enjoyable all that kissing had been and also from the fact that they had been discovered but it had been an amazing night and there was still plenty of time left to celebrate the evening.
