A Room at a Private Hospital - London

It took a few extra days but finally Cutter and Connor had gotten approval from their doctors that they could begin having lunch outside, "I can't believe we finally get to go outside," he said excitedly as he waited for Lester and Jenny to come and help them get ready. [preplayed with the amazing anomaly_research_nerd. CW for medical trauma, injury and recovery. NFB for distance but OOC welcome!].

Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Feels like it would never get here" Connor said as he looked towards the door for the tenth time in as many minutes waiting for Lester, Jenny, and the nurse to come. "And it looks like the weather is absolutely perfect too!"
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"I know, I've missed being outside, it will be nice being able to be somewhere that's not the therapy room or this hospital bed," Cutter grinned excitedly as he looked longingly out towards the window and then back at the door, hoping that it wouldn't take long for everyone to get there.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor nodded in agreement and then perked up even more when Lester and Jenny finally got there. "Well, it looks like you two are ready for something" Jenny teased as she walked in. "I wonder what in the world it could be?" "Oh you know good and well!" Connor laughed, unable to keep the smile off his face.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester gave a rare smile as well, "you'll be pleased to know that everything is sorted and you can spend a few hours outside for lunch," he told them. Cutter's smile was wide at that, "thank you James, Jenny for helping organise this, it will be so good to finally be outside after all this time,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Be glad I'm still a little wobbly or you both would be getting hugs right now, thank you" Connor said as he looked at Jenny and Lester. "It's our pleasure. Ww are glad we can do this for you and Nick" Jenny said as she walked over and placed a soft kiss on Connor's forehead then went and did the same for Cutter.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Thank you Jenny," Cutter smiled, "I'm really looking forward to this," Lester just shook his head at that as Jenny gave Cutter and Connor a kiss, "now, I do believe the two of you need help getting ready? Unless you want to eat outside in your hospital gowns?" he added, having a good idea of what Cutter and Connor felt about that.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor looked down and gave a small lopsided grin. "Oh yeah.... kinda forgot about that part of the whole going out bit... ooops."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter also looked a bit sheepish, "it would definitely be better having proper clothes on that the hospital gown," he added with a small grin of his own. Lester smiled, "well its a good thing we're here to help fix that," he said as he went round to Connor's clothes and began to see what options Connor, "how about these?" he held up a pair of shorts and one of Connor's band shirts.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Perfect" Connor said with a nod as he looked at the shirt, trying to remember the last time he had worn it. Jenny or Lester must have gotten then brought in because he couldn't remember the last time that shirt had been worn. "Definitely looking forward to something other than the gown" he added with a laugh.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester smiled, "I know that feeling," he admitted as he moved to help Connor get ready, "I know after my hospital stint I was ready to burn that gown," Meanwhile Jenny had picked out a checkered shirt and shorts for Cutter and had started to help him get ready, "a nice fresh set of clothes will do wonders for you both," she smiled. "Oh that feels so much nicer," Cutter agreed after a few minutes when he finally dressed.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"It really does help. I’m feeling 10 times better already" Connor said once he was changed and sitting on the edge of the bed looking a bit more like his usual self at last.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	“It definitely is so much better,” Cutter agreed as Jenny helped him finish getting ready, “thank you Jenny, James,” “You’re welcome Nick,” Jenny smiled, “now we just have to wait for the nurse and then we’ll be able to go and have lunch,”
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the wheelchair not too far away. "I can make it... we dont have to wait for...." He trailed off when he saw the look Jenny and Lester gave him. "I mean... yeah... best to wait for the nurses...." he said softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	“Smart decision,” Lester smiled, it turned out they didn’t have to wait long before the nurses arrived to help Cutter and Connor in their wheelchairs. “It’s really happening,” Cutter said excitedly, even though he couldn’t help but wince at the effort it took to still get in his chair.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Thought we would never get here honestly.... I am so looking forward to this." Connor got situated in the wheelchair and smiled as he waited for any instructions that the nurse had for him and Cutter. The nervous excitement was growing and he was ready to get out and see something other than the hospital room.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Same here," Cutter smiled happily, fidgeting slightly at how close they were to being outside. The nurses quickly gave Cutter and Connor their instructions, about taking it easy while they were outside and not trying to walk from their chair. Cutter nodded as he followed the instructions, "they sound reasonable enough," he agreed, knowing that he probably wasn't going to feel up to much walking while they were outside, he was just happy they got to be somewhere different.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Scout's honor, will behave," Connor said as he listened and nodded, letting the nurse know he had heard and understood. He just wanted to be outside in the sun and fresh air again. "Thank you" he said softly giving the nurse a smile and a small nod. "You both are welcome. Now, as long as you two behave I will leave you in your friend's capable hands for the next few hours" the nurse said as she gave a smile and a nod to Lester and Jenny.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter gave a sheepish smile at that, "we'll behave," he promised, he didn't want to mess up their chance to eat outside for a couple of hours, "we promise," he looked at Connor with an excited expression at how close they were to being outside.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Very well. I will be out to check on you all shortly. I will have your lunches brought out to you too" the nurse said with a smile as she left. "Alright ready then?" Jenny asked with a smile as she stood behind Connor's wheelchair. "Oh you have no idea how ready I am for this" Connor said with an excited grin.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled as Lester stood behind his wheelchair, "can we go now?" he asked as he looked over at Jenny and Connor. "Well I think it's safe to say that we can move out," Lester told them with a soft smile.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor was all smiles as they made their way down the hallways. When they finally passed through he doors leading out to the patio area, Connor had to blink for a moment against the light. It was a perfect day, the sun was warm but the breeze was slightly cool and there was not a cloud in the sky. The sitting area had also been cleared for them so they had the area to themselves for a few hours.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Oh this is so nice," Cutter said happily as he also had to blink back against the bright light and it wasn't long before he could see the table they were going to be eating at. "Hi Cutter, Connor," Abby said with a wave from where she and Connor were setting up the rest of the picnic lunch, Cutter had hoped that Becker and Sarah could join them but Sarah was still too ill to leave her hospital room.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Abby Connor... great to see you" Connor said as they made their way over to where everything was set up for them. He looked around to see if Becker and Sarah had joined them but knew that it likely wasn't going to happen. "It's great you both could make it here!"
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Of course, we wouldn't miss this," Abby told them as she went over to hug both of them. Cutter was grateful for the hug, "this is an important milestone for you two, it won't be long at all before you're back at the ARC," she said confidently. "Its great to see you both," Cutter smiled, "I'm looking forward to this lunch, its a nice change from the hospital room,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Feels like forever since I've been outside. this is amazing and seeing you all just makes it even better" Connor said as he looked around at his friends and the set up they had done for them. "Thank you" he said as he returned the hug that Abby gave him. "We're always here for you" Cutter's Connor said with a smile, dropping the usual awkwardness as he walked over and gave Connor a hug then went and did the same with Cutter.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled as he hugged Connor back, "its definitely going to be amazing getting to eat out first lunch outside," he said, "it feels like its been forever since we were last outside," he admitted.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor nodded in agreement as he looked around at the picnic style lunch they had prepared. As they started to settle in and eat,Connor was enjoying the time outside and being with Cutter and everyone else. After some time he looked over at Lester, somewhat hesitant before he spoke again. "Sir... do you think we could... bring some of the food for Becker and Sarah? I... I know she cant leave her room yet but... it would be nice if she could at least enjoy some of the food? I'm sure Becker would like it too."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"We can definitely do that," Lester reassured him, "I was planning on stopping by and checking in on Becker and Sarah before we head back to the ARC, I can take some of the food for them," Cutter smiled, "thank you James, at least Becker and Sarah can enjoy the food that way, it would have been nice to be able to see them, maybe when Sarah's a little better we can stop by and visit as well?" he suggested.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	”I’m sure when she is ready for visitors they will let you both see her" Jenny said with a small smile as she looked at Lester. "It would be good to see Becker again... and Sarah too, even for a little bit" Connor said with a slow nod. "I know just having someone to talk to and see sometimes really make the days easier for us."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester nodded, "when she is up for more visitors, I'll make arrangements for you to be able to see them, it may take a while for you to see her though," he admitted apologetically. Cutter nodded, "as long as we can see her, catch up with Becker as well," he agreed, "and hopefully soon we'll all be out of the hospital and back at the ARC,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Aye, here's to al of us getting back to where we belong" Connor said as he picked up the can of soda he had been drinking and held it up with a small smile.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Here, here" Cutter smiled as he held up his can and raised it, Lester, Jenny, Abby and Connor did the same. "we're all going to overcome this and be back safely at the ARC,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor smiled and focused on the progress they had made so far. There was a lot to still overcome and a lot to do. But they had made it this far and he was determined to keep going and to keep fighting to get back to where he had been. There was too much work still to be done. But he knew he and Nick would get there- together.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	The nurse came out with his and Connor's food then and they started on the picnic, it felt really good being outside with their friends, he wished Becker and Sarah could be with them but he knew they would see them soon. Cutter took his time with his soup and sandwiches, it was tomato and grilled cheese and he knew this was good progress for him and Connor to be able to eat outside for lunch. "Do you think we'll be allowed to eat out here more often?" Cutter asked hopefully in between bites of his food.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I think the doctors want to keep things simple for a bit. They just want to make sure you both don't over do it and backslide on all the progress you have made" Jenny said softly. "But I am sure we can work it where a couple times a week we can do something outside." "It would be really good if we could... even if it's just sitting outside or visiting the gardens for a little while. Just getting out would be really nice" Connor said with a small smile.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter did look a little disappointed that it wasn't going to be more frequently at first, he chewed on his sandwiches thoughtfully, "a couple of times a week would be good," he finally said, "it will be nice just to be somewhere that's not the hospital room or the therapy room," he admitted.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"It's for your own health and safety" Jenny said softly, understanding the disappointment. "But as you keep getting stronger Im sure we can talk and get you more time outdoors. This is a wonderful first step towards that." Connor nodded as he slowly worked on his sandwich and soup. "It gives us something to look forward to at least. And we will get there soon enough!"
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter nodded, “we will get there,” he agreed softly, “maybe for one of our next lunches Sarah will be well enough to join us?” he asked hopefully.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I hope so, it would be good to be able to see them soon. I... I miss them" Connor admitted. "Im glad Becker is staying but I know he wants to be with Sarah as much as possible now."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	“I miss them too,” Cutter said softly, “and I’m glad Becker’s not resigning either, it just wouldn’t be the same without him,”
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"We are all glad Becker is staying" Jenny said with a nod. "And Sarah will always have a place at the ARC, no matter what happens. Helen and Christine tried to tear the ARC apart. We aren't going to let that happen." Connor nodded slowly and thought for a moment as he finished his sandwich. A lot had changed and a lot still would be different before things got back to semi-normal. But they were together and they would be able to do it all together. "I know it will take time but I am looking forward to all of us being back together again."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter nodded as he finished the last of his sandwich, “I’m looking forward to it too, we won’t let Helen, Christine and Wilder beat us, we’re still going to be a team,”
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor nodded and smiled softly as he looked around at everyone who was there. He knew it was going to be hard at times but he also knew they were going to get through it all and they would eventually find a way to stop Helen and Christine. They just had to ficus on that. And that was what he was going to do as he smiled and pushed those thoughts out of his mind for the time being and focused on enjoying the amazing afternoon outside with everyone.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter was nervous, it was a few days later and he and Connor were going to be meeting with his clone, Nate. He didn't know what he was going to say to him. How did you go about meeting a clone of yourself? "What do you think he's going to be like?" he asked Connor softly as they waited for Nate.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor reached over and took Cutters' hand and gave it a soft squeeze as he sat beside him. They had been doing well enough their picnic lunch outside that they were spending more time out of the beds at last. "He was.. different," Connor said as he sat in one of the chairs that had been brought into the room for them. "I mean, he looked like you but... he didn't talk or act like you in a lot of ways."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter held onto Connor's hand, he was glad they were now sitting in the chairs and not on the hospital bed, "I don't ... I still don't know how to process this," he admitted, "I mean ... I know he's rebelled against Helen's programming but it's still ...weird to think she made a clone of me," he said softly.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"It is, and you are doing amazing just going through with the meeting. And I know Lester said anytime you want to stop we can" Connor gave his hand a squeeze.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter took a deep breath, "I know I need to see him, at least to get closure for what happened to us, I ... I don't know what's going to happen beyond this meeting" he admitted, "if I ... if I want to be around Nate back at the ARC I mean," he said softly.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I know- we'll just take it slow and see what happens." Connor was about to say something else when there was a knock on the door an Lester poked his head in.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester looked at Cutter and Connor sitting up in the chairs, "are you ready to meet with Nate?" he asked softly, "you can still change your mind and the meeting doesn't happen," Cutter looked over at Connor, "what do you think?" he asked softly, "do you still want to go through with this?"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I think I want to see him, at least know where he stands.... and to thank him for helping us" Connor said softly. "Beyond that... I'll have to see. But I want to do at least this. For his sake and mine."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"I'm the same," Cutter took a deep breath, "we'll see him James," "Okay, there'll be security right outside this door and I'll be here with you the entire time," Lester told them gently and he went back outside to bring Nate in.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor reached over and grabbed Cutter's hand as they waited. He swallowed hard as they waited for Lester and Nate to come back in. "I'm right here Cutter" he said softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter trembled, he held Connor's hand tightly, "thank you," he said softly, "I'm glad you're here with me," he said and gave Connor's hand a gentle squeeze. It was a few minutes later and Lester and Nate were in the room. "I'll just be over here in the corner of the room, if you need me just say the word," Lester said gently and left leaving Nate facing Cutter and Connor. Cutter stared at Nate, not sure what to say.
Nate(anomaly_research_nerd)	Nate stood there for a moment as he looked from Lester and then to Cutter and Connor. There was a certain look in his eyes, a mixture of confusion and sadness. "I...I just wanted to say I'm... I'm sorry about... what happened" he said softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	It took a few moments for Cutter to find his voice again, he wasn't angry with Nate ... he just felt confused about the whole situation and wished he knew how best to approach it, "it ... its not your fault, you ... you weren't the one who shot us, you ... you saved us," he said finally, "thank you," he said, holding tightly onto Connor's hand, "thank you for saving us,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor held Cutter's hand tightly. "Yes, thank you and.... thank you for... getting my ring back. It means a lot to have it back" he said looking down at the ring on his hand and then up to Nate. "I'm glad I could. It wasn't right what... Helen did. What her plans were. I know I... can't ever make up for that but... I know I don't want to help her. Not anymore" Nate said softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter hesitated, he really didn’t know what to say and was quiet for a few moments, “you turned against her when it mattered, you got Connor’s ring back, you saved him,” he said softly, still clinging to Connor’s hand. “What …what’s going to happen to you now?” he asked Nate softly, still unsure.
Nate(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I'll be here. At the ARC" Nate said simply as he glanced over at Lester and gave a small nod. "It's not safe for me to be out and about... too risky" he said repeating what Lester had told him early on when he had first arrived. "I understand if you don't want to see me after this. I'll stay in the security wing. Out of sight."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Oh," Cutter really didn't know what else to say, he stared at Nate, trying to find something to say, "that ... I ... I don't know," he finally admitted, "its ... I still don't know how to process this ... it ... it might take a while before I decide," he said softly.
Nate(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I understand," Nate said simply. "I just wanted to be able to let you know... I never wanted Helen to do what she did. I know it's... not something I can undo, my existing. But even if don't see each other again..." Nate glanced at Lester again before looking back at Cutter and Connor. "I wanted to make sure you knew Helen was wrong. For what she did."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter was quiet again as he tried to process everything that Nate was saying, that. he was a clone and he understood the basics of right and wrong, that he wasn't the mindless drone that Helen had clearly meant him to be, "I understand," he said finally, "thank you, for telling me, it ... it must have been hard for you, to go against Helen like that, despite not knowing what might happen to you,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"We appreciate what you did... regardless of what happens here on out" Connor said with a nod. "I... we know it was something you had to choose... to be against Helen like that. We're grateful for what you did for us... Nate."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter was quiet as he tried to find something else to say, he stared back at Nate and looked over at Lester and back to Nate, "what ... what is going to happen now?" he asked quietly. "That entirely depends on you and Connor," Lester said gently, "if you want to work with and see Nate, he'll be at the ARC, if not I'll reassign him to the security wing, as Nate said its far to dangerous to set him up with a civilian identity just yet, especially if the government were to get wind of the exact nature of Nate,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I think it will take some time...." Connor said softly after a moment. "I don't know if I want... if I can work that closely, at least not yet. But I.... I do want to make sure you are ok Nate. You did something really good for us. I don't want you thinking you are being punished because of that." Connor gave Cuter's hand a squeeze as he looked from Nate over to Lester.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter nodded, "it's ... its' going to take time," he said softly to Nate as he held Connor's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze in response, "maybe one day, we can work side by side Nate but its not a reflection on you, Connor's right, you aren't being punished, this ... this is something we need to work through," he said softly.
Nate(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I understand," Nate said softly, understanding as best he could at least. "I know you don't owe me anything.... and I'm grateful for this" he said softly giving a small nod to Cutter and Connor. He sat there in the quiet that fell over the room for a moment before he turned to look at Lester."It's probably best I go back now" he said simply as he stood so Lester could have Danny take him back to his room.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter nodded, "thank you for visiting us, we know how difficult this must have been for you, thank you for talking with us," he said softly. Lester came over to Nate then, "let's go back to the ARC," he said, "give Cutter and Connor some time to rest, I'll be back to check on you both later," he reassured them as he made a move to lead Nate to the door.
Nate(anomaly_research_nerd)	Nate nodded as he walked towards the door and stopped to give one last look back at Cutter and Connor before turning to Danny. "I'm ready," he said simply. "Alright. I'll take Nate back and get him situated" Danny said with a nod to Lester. "I'll see you back at the ARC sir?" he checked, figuring Lester would want to stay with Cutter and Connor for a little bit after something like this.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester nodded, "I'll see you both shortly," he promised as he waited for Danny to leave with Danny and Nate, once they had left turned back to Cutter and Connor, to see what their reaction would be. "Would you like me to get you anything? Some water, something to eat?" he asked softly. "Can I have a heated blanket?" Cutter asked softly, feeling cold all of a sudden.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor gave Cutter's hand a squeeze and lifted it to give it a soft kiss before he looked over at Lester. "Some water would be nice, thank you" he said softly as he watched Cutter closely, concern evident on his face.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Lester nodded as he went over to where the blankets were and brought one back for Cutter and helped wrap him in it, he then went back and got a glass of water for Connor. "Here you go Connor," he said gently, making sure that Connor would be right with the water. Cutter shivered as the blanket was placed on him, "how could Helen do that?" he finally whispered, "do that to me, to us?" he stared at the door where Nate had just left with Danny.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor took the water gratefully and drank some of it before he set it down and moved closer to Cutter. He reached out and put an arm around him, pulling him as close as possible and rubbed his back gently. He could only imagine what all he was feeling just then.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter trembled as he leaned in close to Connor, trying to feel as much warmth from the blanket as he could and from Connor rubbing his back gently. He couldn't say anything else, he was just tired. "I'm sorry," Lester said gently, "you both did very well meeting Nate, even with how hard this was for you, I'm very proud of both of you,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I just... I don't know. It's confusing" Connor said as he kept rubbing Cutter's back gently. "One one hand it almost feels like it would be easier if he... was just a mindless clone. But in others, it's.... almost a good thing he's not? I don't know... it's just all so hard right now" he said with a sigh.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Its definitely a unique situation," Lester sighed, "he definitely knows the difference between right and wrong, which is more than Helen's other clones, we can't let him go off on his own, he may have to stay at the ARC the rest of his life," he admitted. Cutter sat there absorbed in his thoughts, "I do feel bad for him," he said softly, "he didn't ask for any of this but I ... I don't know if I could be around him all the time, that Helen did this,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I'm sure we can figure something out" Connor said softly. "Something that can keep Nate safe... away from Helen and Christine and the government. But also something that is fair for you also" he said as he gave Cutter's hand a squeeze.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter took a deep breath as he returned that hand squeeze, "we will figure something out, this is ... just a lot to process," he said softly. Lester watched them closely, "I will be working with Danny over the next few days to come up with something and we will keep you informed of our decision," he assured them, "but we will come up with a fair solution,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor nodded and pulled Cutter close as he rubbed his back again. He felt how heavy Cutter was leaning against him and he looked at Lester with a small nod. "It's been a lot to process.. busy day. I think it might be time to get some rest" he said softly.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter leaned against Connor, leaning into that touch, he felt his eyes begin to close. "I think some rest would be good as well," he said tiredly. Lester nodded, "I will go and get the nurses, let them know you want to get some rest," he told them softly. "Jenny will be taking over for me, she'll be here shortly." "Thank you James," Cutter said and let out a yawn.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Thank you Sir, for everything" Connor said as he gave a small yawn of his own and held Cutter close. His mind as still spinning but he knew everything would still be there later. and maybe a good rest would help things look not quite so confusing later on.
Sarah(thearcfamily)	It had taken another couple of weeks but Sarah was finally starting to feel some improvement, she still was not well enough to leave the hospital but she was able to start sitting up more and her appetite was starting to come back. She was sitting up in a chair today, she had been able to walk over to it with Becker's help and was sitting up today, "can I have another blanket please Becker?" she asked softly as she tried to get warm.
Becker(thearcfamily)	"Of course Sarah" Becker said as he stood and went to the closet on the other side of the room and grabbed one of the fresh blankets. Carefully he wrapped it around Sarah's shoulders and then sat back down in the chair next to her... but not before giving her a soft kiss. "Hows that? Better?"
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah gave a grateful smile as Becker placed the blankets on her shoulder and at the kiss, "much better," she said softly, "thank you Becker, it feels so nice to not be laying in the hospital bed," she admitted.
Becker(thearcfamily)	"I can imagine...." Becker said softly and reached out and stroked Sarah's cheek softly. "I'm so proud of you Sarah" he said as he took her hand and gave it a small squeeze.
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah smiled at that as she leaned into his touch, she squeezed his hand back, "I couldn't have gotten this far without your help and support, thank you Becker,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"I love you Sarah, and Im going to be here for you" Becker smiled softly as he sat there and thought back at how much it had taken to get them where they were now. "I know the doctors said they are please with your progress. You are working so hard and I am so proud of you."
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah smiled at that, "I love you too Becker, so much," she said softly, "I thought I was never going to be in a position where I could even get out of bed, let alone walk over to a chair," she admitted, "I know I'm likely never going to be able to go back into the field again but I want to continue to get better, so I can work for the ARC still,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"It will work out in the end. Lester already has said he will find a place for you at the ARC if you want to keep working behind the scenes with us" Becker said softly. "And I... I made that deposit. On that apartment we had talked about a while back" Becker said slowly as he watched Sarah to see her reaction.
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah smiled at that, "I would like that," she said softly and her smile widened, "you did, oh Becker," she said happily, she wished she had more energy so she could fling her arms around him but she gazed up at him, "the apartment's really ours now?"
Becker(thearcfamily)	Becker leaned over and wrapped his arms around her gently and stayed close so she could hug him more easily. "Just got to get the final papers signed. But yes, it is ours" he said with a broad smile. "I was able to get the master apartment so it's ground floor and has more space than the others- it also has a small fenced-in yard in the back too. The rest of the apartments are much smaller. It should give us plenty of room" he said as he gave Sarah a soft kiss.
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah hugged him gently and held him close, "that's wonderful Becker, we will really be able to make a home for ourselves once I'm able to be released," she happily returned that soft kiss, "I'm looking forward to it,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"As am I. All I need is you here with me" Becker said with a smile as he held her close. "Having you with me, making a life for ourselves together, that will make me the happiest man in the world."
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah smiled, "and all I need is you with me, you make me so happy, I never would have gotten through these last several weeks without your love and support," she said softly, "I don't when I'll be able to leave the hospital but I know if you're here with me, I'll be able to keep getting through this,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"No matter what, we will get through this together. And when we are together, home where we belong, we will enjoy every moment we have together" Becker smiled as he pulled Sarah close and kissed her cheek. "I cant wait to see what that future holds for us."
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah's smile widened at that as she leaned in close to Becker, "We will enjoy every moment," she nodded, "I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us, I can't wait to be able to take this journey with you,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"We started it a while ago, and I'm excited to see what lies ahead for us as well" Becker said as he closed his eyes and Sarah leaned against his chest. "I love you Sarah."
Sarah(thearcfamily)	Sarah found herself getting tired again, leaning against Becker's chest as she got comfortable, "I love you too Becker, so very much," she said softly, her eyes beginning to close.
Becker(thearcfamily)	Becker shifted beside her in the chair and wrapped his arms around her and held Sarah close. As she started drifting off he placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "Rest. I will be right here when you wake up."
