Cutter rubbed his head a little as the information swarmed in front of him, "even with all the work Sarah's being doing, it's going to take as a while before we fully complete the Anomaly Research Model," he admitted, "we know it works ... we just need to get the rest of the data input but because its so vast ... it could really be an endless map of anomalies stretching through time, we may never get it complete,"

Connor looked up from the book and over at Cutter. "It might be that big, it might be that new anomalies always show up in certain areas we could predict into he future." He reached out and put a hand on Cutter's shoulder. "But even if it cant ever be totally completed, it will be so much more than what we have now and will help us so much with what we are trying to do. You and Sarah have done an amazing job on it already!"

Cutter gave a smile at that, "and you've been amazing with your help as well Connor, we couldn't have gotten this far on the anomaly prediction model without you," he assured him, "I'm glad this is something that we can work on together,"

Connor smiled broadly at that and gave Cutter's shoulder a small squeeze. "It's been nice... getting back the anomalies and working on this together. It...it is like old times and I've enjoyed it a lot. We'll figure it out and we'll make sure to protect the data we find and what discoveries we make."

"I've enjoyed this too," Cutter smiled at that small squeeze, "now that things have settled down a bit, this could very well be the most important work that we ever do, just thing of all that research implications, locating anomalies not just in the UK but over the whole world as well, we could save countless lives with this," he said, realising just what they would be able to achieve once they got the data figured out.

"Aye. We'll need to keep gathering as much data as we can. Figure out everything about the anomalies that can, how they work, how to monitor them... We are going to need to get to every anomaly that we can as to get the data we need."

He turned to the table beside him and grabbed a small handheld device the turned back to Cutter.

"Which is why I made these- handheld data collectors. I have three so far. So if we have to split up to go after multiple anomalies or if you and I cant go for some reason,, someone can still get the data we need."

"Oh this is is brilliant," Cutter breathed as he looked at the device Connor had, "this is definitely going to help as more anomalies appear and we can get that data on them, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these in action," he grinned at Connor.

"Thanks, it's a compact version of the bigger handheld I've been using to get the data for us. It will take the key readings we need and will record about an hours worth of data in one go." Connor beamed proudly, he was really proud of this little device he had created. "Best readings are of course if it's pointed right at the anomaly but it is small enough and there's a clip on it so someone can wear it and it can gather data while someone like Becker patrols around an anomaly location or while Abby or someone else is in the area around an anomaly."

Cutter smiled at seeing how proud Connor looked at his device, "well after we get back to the anomaly prediction model we should be able to see if we can predict another anomaly and you should be able to test out your new device then," he promised.

"Ya know, almost makes me wish for an anomaly so we could test it all out and see how it works," Connor said with a laugh as he fiddled with the device a little, checking the battery supply and all.

Cutter laughed at that, "well its been a week since our last anomaly, we're surely due for another one," he looked up as he said that, almost half expecting the sirens to start blaring then since that was usually how their luck went with these things.

You went and had to jinx it didn't you Cutter? Cuz right then the alarm for the detector Hub went off. Though judging by the smile on Connor's face he was thrilled.

"Yes! Time to test these babies out!" he said as he grabbed the handhelds and his bag with his gear.

"I wonder what anomaly it will be this time?" Cutter laughed at Connor's expression as he went to start grabbing his own gear, "we should also get Sarah, she can get some field experience as well,"

Because this was definitely the best time for Sarah to get some field experience, Becker was going to love this.

"Alright, let's go!" Connor said as he pulled out his phone to give Sarah a call over in the lab as they headed out to meet Becker in the parking garage.

"Sarah, grab your stuff. Yeah the anomaly. You're coming with us for this one. Meet you in the parking garage."

Oh yes Becker was so going to love this....

"Right behind you," Cutter grinned as he followed Connor to the parking carriage, "any idea on where the new anomaly is located?" he asked as they walked over.

Once he had hung up the phone Connor looked at the handheld and studied it for a moment. "It's still trying to triangulate the location. Looks like it's somewhere outside London city limits though so that's good at least."

Connor kept glancing down at the handheld as they arrived at the parking garage and met up with the rest of the team.

"Well that's definitely a good thing if it's outside the city, hopefully there's less people around," Cutter said as they entered the garage, Sarah was already there with her gear and she was practically beaming.

"I can't believe I get to go on my first official field assignment," she grinned.

Becker and a few of his men arrived a moment later. "Alright, do we have a location for the anomaly yet? Where are we...."

He trailed off when he looked from Cutter and Connor and realized Sarah was there with them.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, a little more coldly than he had probably intended to.

From:

"And hello to you too," Sarah said with a roll of her eyes, "I'm coming along, this is my first field assignment isn't this great," she said excitedly.

From:

"I'm aware it's your first field assignment," Becker said somewhat annoyed. "That was why I was wondering why you were tagging along for this one."

"We... we need her to help us get data on the anomaly" Connor offered, looking from Becker to Sarah. "We need her to come with us."

From:

"Besides I can't get any experience if I don't go out in the field," Sarah pointed out, "I'll stay out of the way, collect the data on the anomaly, I'm helping work on the anomaly prediction model after all," she added.

From:

"Fine. But you do as we say when we say understand? These things are dangerous." Becker looked around at Connor and Cutter and gave them a bit of a 'you brought her you keep her under control' look then started grabbing the bags and getting them into the truck.

"Alright lets go. Connor give me the coordinates to this thing so we know where we are heading" Becker said as he climbed into the truck and started off as soon as everyone was in and Connor read off the destination.

"Alright," Sarah said excitedly as she got in the front seat next to Becker, she was determined to eventually win him over,

"So when we're at the site, we'll need you to use one of Connor's devices to help gather information on the anomaly, it will help us correlate the data and can improve the mapping of the anomalies on the model," Cutter told her as they drove to the site.
