Washington DC - Monday

The trip to the museum yesterday had proved to be very successful, Cutter had loved visiting and talking about everything with Connor and even with the other tourists who had mistaken him for a tour guide but he hadn’t minded answering the additional questions at all.

After a quick dinner yesterday and seeing some of the sights yesterday, Cutter and Connor decided to spend their last full day in Washington DC, doing a bit of shopping and eating out a nice restaurant … Lester was really not going to like his credit card bill after this.

They had found a nice clothes shop to start with, Connor had persuaded Cutter that he needed a new jacket and Cutter really had no idea what he was looking for.

“There are so many choices,” he marvelled as he looked at what jackets were on display.

"Aye something for everyone pretty much" he said with a grin as he started looking through the first rack of coats.

"Might be a good idea to get two i think? One winter to replace the old one then something lighter weight maybe?"

Connor wasn't the bedt at the whole clothes shopping thing... So this could be an interesting adventure

“That might not be a bad idea,” Cutter grinned as he looked over the jackets, “I should probably look for a jacket that is also good against the elements, that it's waterproof and things like that, considering how much time we do spend outdoors and everything,” and then he grinned, “I mean Lester is paying for all of this, may as well go all out right?”

Somewhere Lester was definitely facepalming and knowing that Cutter was responsible for it.

"Exactly! Why would Lester give you a card if he didn't want you to use it right?"

Connor, that is not how any of this worked!

"I might pick up a few things myself while we're here. Could use a couple of things... couple new pairs of gloves might be nice" he said giving Cutter a quick wink.

“We can definitely do that,” Cutter grinned, “I noticed they have some gloves over on the table back there, I think we could pick up a couple of new pieces each, I mean it would be a shame to not spend anything after stopping in here right?”

That was definitely not how this worked Cutter.

"Oh, gotta check those out for sure. You can help me pick out a few maybe? Some more me, some for you" Connor said, his cheeks flushing slightly at implied meaning.

They were hopeless really- Jenny or Lester should take them on a proper shopping trip! Because surely nothing would go wrong with that arrangement!

And Cutter was going very red as he understood what Connor was saying with that, “I’d like that,” he managed to stammer, “I’d really like that,” and then Cutter found himself leaning in to give Connor a quick kiss in response.

Connor returned the kiss and broke into a grin of his own, cheeks flushing slightly as he pulled away.

"So, jackets first then gloves" he decided with a smirk as he turned and searched through one of the racks for a minute or two.

"What about something like this?" he asked holding up a rather nice jacket. "Light weight, looks like a faux leather outer layer, nice for every day but might be dressy enough for a bar date night or something?"

Cutter smiled happily at Connor as he broke the kiss and then turned his attention to the jacket that Connor was holding up, “that does look nice,” he agreed, as he studied the jacket in more detail, “and it would go with what I own as well,” he considered.

Well it wasn’t like he owned many clothes for that to be a problem.

Connor nodded in agreement. "And I think you would look smashing in a leather jacket too" he said with a grin. "Though mine IS still cooler!"

“Oh is that a challenge?” Cutter grinned as he turned his attention to the leather jackets, “I’m sure I could find a really cool leather jacket,” and then he found a black one that he liked, “this one’s nice,” and then he decided to try it on, “what do you think?” he asked as he twirled around, the leather jacket flapping ever so slightly as he did.

OK that was just not fair Cutter, flirting like that. Connor stared and bit his lip a moment, cursing the fact they were in public just then.

"Oh that IS a really nice one" he said as he reached out and adjusted the collar of the jacket a little with a grin.

Cutter would definitely make it up to you later Connor, when they weren’t in public and he went bright red as Connor adjusted the collar.

“So you think I should get this one then as well?” he said with a smile.

"Oh, I mean... since Lester is paying for it and all..." Connor said with a smirk, trying to act casual about it. But really of course you had to get that jacket Cutter! What a silly, silly question!

Somehow Cutter and Connor had managed to behave somewhat through their dinner at a very nice restaurant, they were both dressed up in their new suits and had had a very enjoyable evening out and now after a long day of clothes shopping and a lot of flirting, they had managed to make it back to the hotel room.

“So what would you like to do first?” Cutter asked with a grin once he had closed the door securely behind them.

It had been a very nice day, and the dinner had been amazing, But there really had been a lot of flirting, from both sides.

As soon as Connor heard the door click closed and then click again as the lock slid into place, he stepped closer to Cutter.

"This... for starters..." he said as he kissed Cutter.

Cutter had no problems at all with that and eagerly learned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Connor as he did.

"I do like the way you think," he murmured as he grinned into the kiss, keeping the embrace going as long as he could.

"I have been called a genius now and then" Connor said with a grin as he deepened the kiss, pulling Cutter closer. Now that he finally had Cutter there, in his arms, he was not going to let go any time soon.

"Mmmmm" Cutter murmured happily in agreement as he happily let Connor pull him in closer, "I believe that," he grinned into that kiss, "I think this is a very, very smart move,"

He had no problems with staying in Connor's arms, this was very, very nice and he happily leaned into the kiss.

"Pretty smart move yourself, Nick" he murmured in reply when he finally pulled back slightly for that annoying thing called breathing. As he pulled back slightly, Connor looked Cutter up and down, the grin on his face broadening.

"You look... absolutely.... amazing..." Connor said for probably the tenth time that night at least as he reached out and gently grabbed hold of the tie and fave it a gentle tug, pulling Cutter closer once more.

It was very rude of a thing like breathing to interrupt that.

“You look very dashing yourself,” Cutter grinned, his grin widening when Connor pulled him in closer with his tie, “looks like I chose a good tie to wear, it’s very … versatile,” he said as he was pulled in closer, keeping his arms wrapped tightly around Connor as he did.

Connor felt himself start to blush again at the compliment.

"It's a very nice tie" he said as he slowly let go of it, moving his hands to Cutter's shoulders and started pushing the jacket off slowly.

Cutter smiled warmly as Connor started to push off his jacket and he reluctantly moved his arms to help make it easier for Connor, he started to slowly tug on Connor's jacket as well.

A soft moan escaped as Connor felt Cutter tug at his jacket. Connor leaned closer and kissed Cutter's cheek, then along his jaw, and slowly down his neck as he pushed the jacket off, letting it fall to the floor.

Cutter moaned at those kisses as he worked on pushing off Connor’s jacket, he kissed into the nape of Connor’s neck as he did and very soon Connor’s own jacket had fallen to the floor as well.

"Nick..." Connor moaned softly against his shoulder and trembled slightly at the kiss on his neck. With the jacket off, his hands went to the shirt, trying to blindly fumble with the buttons of the nice new shirt.
