The trip to the museum yesterday had proved to be very successful, Cutter had loved visiting and talking about everything with Connor and even with the other tourists who had mistaken him for a tour guide but he hadn’t minded answering the additional questions at all.

After a quick dinner yesterday and seeing some of the sights yesterday, Cutter and Connor decided to spend their last full day in Washington DC, doing a bit of shopping and eating out a nice restaurant … Lester was really not going to like his credit card bill after this.

They had found a nice clothes shop to start with, Connor had persuaded Cutter that he needed a new jacket and Cutter really had no idea what he was looking for.

“There are so many choices,” he marvelled as he looked at what jackets were on display.

Cutter shivered at the feel of Connor’s hands in his hair and he moaned loudly at the nip in his shoulder as he continued to massage Connor’s buttocks and then he started to slide his hands to his groin and started to work on giving it a gentle massage.

A long, loud moan escaped him as Connor leaned into that touch, shifting them back farther onto the bed, continuing the nips and kisses until he reached the pulse point again and nipped harder, hard enough to likely leave a mark as he started pushing Cutter back down on the bed.

Cutter cried out loudly at that particular nip on his pulse point and continued to massage Connor’s buttocks and groin as he let Connor push him back down on the bed.

Connor's hand slid down Cutter's chest and stomach, slowly as he pulled back slightly, breathing hard as he did.

"Are you ok, Nick? With... with this I mean..." Connor asked a sudden wave of self-doubt making him pause.

Cutter blinked a bit as Connor paused, his body wanted more but at the same time he had never been asked that before and now it was his turn to look up at at Connor.

"I'm okay," he assured him, "I'm more than okay, this all amazing, being with you ... have I ... have I done something to hurt you?" now he was worried that he had managed to hurt Connor.

Connor shook his head, trying to put what all he was feeling into words.

"Not at all... the exact opposite. This...all this, is better than anything I could have ever hoped for. It's all... all I've ever wanted." Connor looked at Cutter and smile softly. "I've never been happier than I am with you Nick, I... just want to make sure you... you don't feel pressured... or anything."

Cutter stared up at Connor, neither Helen or Stephen had ever asked if he was okay before and he raised a hand up to stroke Connor’s face, “I’m … I don’t feel pressured Connor,” he assured him, “this … being here with you, is what I want, I love you Connor so very much,” he paused as he looked up at his face, “are you feeling pressured?” he asked gently, “we can stop this if you don’t want to continue,”

"Not feeling pressured at all" Connor said as he tilted his head slightly to lean into that touch. "I.. I love all of this... love being with you Nick, it's just... really new to me..."

Connor could count on one hand, and have fingers left over, the number of times he had ever gotten this far with anyone before. So "new" was a bit of an understatement there.

Connor closed his eyes, still leaning into that gentle touch. "Would you... I.... would it be ok if... if we just wait for a little... snuggle a little maybe?" by the time he finished, Connor's voice was barely a whisper and he was almost afraid of what the reaction would be as he opened his eyes and looked at Cutter.

Cutter gave him a warm smile, "of course we can wait a little," he assured him, "we can snuggle as much as you want to,"

He was determined to never be like Helen or Stephen, he wanted to do right by Connor and take this journey with him and he would be as patient and as gentle as Connor needed and he would always be supportive in what he wanted and needed.

And now it was Connor's turn to be a bit surprised. He hadn't expected Cutter to be upset or anything but... he had worried about disappointing him.

A smile spread across Connor's face as he looked down at Cutter for a moment then leaned over and rested his head against Cutter's. "I love you Nick... thank you..."

"You're welcome Connor," Cutter smiled as he gave Connor's head a gentle kiss before he settled back down onto the bed and moved his arm so that he could put it around Connor. "I love you too so very much,"

Connor smile softly and crawled up beside Cutter once he was comfortable and curled up beside him, kissing his cheek softly, before resting his head on his shoulder and snuggling up as close as he could.

"I love you Nick... thank you... " Better get used to hearing that quite a bit here, Cutter. Connor was still having a hard time convincing himself that someone actually cared about him... for him... and not just for what they wanted from him.

Cutter closed his eyes at that, at hearing the words ‘I love you’ come from Connor … this was something that he had never heard from Helen and Stephen, at least in the later years of their relationships and hearing it from Connor filled him with such joy and happiness, he smiled fondly down at Connor curled up next to him as he leaned into his embrace. 


“You make me very happy Connor,” he said softly, “I love you,” he said again.

Connor would never tired of hearing those words either. They were very nice to hear.

"I've never been happier... than I am right now, here with you" Connor said softly against Cutter's neck as he held him close. "I... never thought anything, even close to this, could ever be possible for me..."

Connor pushed himself up slightly so he could look up at Cutter. "This... you... us... it's more than I ever dared to hope for. I love you so much Nick."

Cutter just held tightly onto to Connor at that, as he thought just how much his life had improved with his relationship with Connor, the point they were at right now.

He kissed Connor’s forehead again, using his free arm to gently ruffle Connor’s hair.

“I never thought any of this could be possible, that I would get to experience any of this … thank you, for showing me this, for letting me share this journey with you,” he said quietly.

"No one else I'd rather be on this journey with. Everything... all of this... has been amazing and I'm glad I get to be here, beside you, for it."

Connor closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Cutter and smiled contentedly. He didn't know what he had ever done to deserve this, but whatever it was, he was grateful.

"Love you Nick..." he whispered with a soft tired smile "always."

Cutter snuggled close to Connor, wrapping his arms around him as he felt his eyes start to droop, "and I love you Connor, I will always love you," he said softly as he leaned against him, enjoying how nice this was and how content he was, this was such a nice change for him and he didn't want this to end.

Connor leaned back, content, happy, and relaxed. Everything he had ever wanted, everything he thought he would ever need, was right here. "I can't wait to go on this adventure with you, Nick. No one else... I'd want to experience this all with." Connor pulled up the sheet and gave Cutter a sleepy smile.

Cutter smiled sleepily as he got ready to lean back in bed, he never thought that feeling this happy and content could be possible, "same here," he said softly, "I can't wait to see what else comes our way," he then out a tired yawn as he looked happily at Connor.
