Connor stared at Nick's back as he watched him walk away. His brain we yelling at him to turn and walk away, to turn his back on Nick since the was turning his back on him. And at the same time, his heart was screaming at him to tell Nick he would forgive him, somehow, and would take him back. Connor could only stand there trembling as he watched Nick walk away, possibly for good.
