"You... don't mean that...I-I... I don't believe it" Connor said, though he knew that look. He knew he was losing Nick... and he was powerless to do anything to stop it. Connor just stood there, tears running down his face, wanting to say something, anything, to stop him from going. But he knew there was nothing to say... he was standing there, knowing he was losing Nick, and there was nothing he could do about it.
