Connor stood there and looked at Cutter, the confusion and concern evident on his face as he tried to figure out what was happening.
"It's... it's ok, Nick." Connor said softly, trying to push down the knot he felt rising up inside. " It's... been a long day. We... we can rest and.. maybe... meet up tomorrow or something?" Connor felt that dread building inside but he didn't want to admit it... he couldn't admit it....not yet.
