The ARC - London

It was late in the evening by the time they made it back to the ARC, Cutter was miserable and exhausted and he imagined that Connor was feeling the same, so he decided to not do any more work on the Anomaly Prediction Model and was trying very hard to not think about that house and DC Quinn and their arrest, he just wanted to pretend that everything was fine for a moment that he and Connor could just have an evening off. They were sitting on Cutter's couch, not really doing much of anything, Cutter glanced over at Connor and wondered if it was asking too much if he curled up against Connor ... he had found it comforting at the station but he hesitated, shifting a little closer to Connor but not too close in case he didn't want that. He also didn't really know what to say ... "at least the press didn't seem to get a hold of the fact that we were arrested," he said quietly, even though as he said it, he really wouldn't put it past that Quinn guy to use it as ammo against them and release their arrest details. ( Cutter didn't like this new development )

An Abandoned Mansion - London

The next day had come and after being assured by both Lester and Jenny that DC Quinn was not going to be a problem and they had authorisation to investigate the house as much as they needed, Cutter was still extremely nervous about running into Quinn again and was staying as close to Connor and Becker as he could as Becker's men secured the house. "Have the readings changed at all?" he looked over at Connor who was holding his ADD and scanning the area. ( it was time to solve the mystery of the haunted house )

Still an Abandoned Mansion - London

The anomaly was still open but Becker’s men had secured the site and there were someone who was going to guard it until the anomaly would close. There hadn’t been too much damage to the house, so Jenny was able to smooth out the details with the real estate agency who had been trying to sell the house and now all that was left was to gather all the data that Connor and Cutter had been able to get from the anomaly. “Do you think we’ve gotten all the data we need?” Cutter asked Connor as they stood near the front steps of the house, Lester was going to be stopping by the site shortly to see the anomaly site for himself and in the meantime they had been going over their devices at what information they'd recorded.. ( it was mostly a successful mission )

The ARC - London

It had been a very long few days and now their latest mission was over and that meant there was a lot of paperwork to fill in and reports to write so Cutter was settling in for a long night ahead since his report to Lester was due in the morning. He’d made a large cup of coffee for him and Connor and looked over on the couch where Connor was looking through the data reports and writing his own report. “I’ll never get used to the amount of paperwork we always have to do after these missions,” he sighed. ( Cutter hated paperwork )
