The ARC - London

It had been a very long and busy several days once Cutter and Connor had returned to London. Even though they were no longer involved with the field work, there was still a lot of research to be done both with the ARC and Prospero.

Cutter and Connor had been given an office to work out of while they were back for the summer, since Cutter’s old office now belonged to Danny ,and there were papers and books all over the office. Cutter was still trying to figure out what some of the numbers from the anomaly prediction model before they had left Fandom and the numbers and data was starting to blur together and he rubbed his eyes tiredly.

“I’m starting to think we might need a break,” he remarked with a sheepish smile from where he had taken a spot on the floor, surrounded by a pile of papers and notebooks.

Connor brightened considerably at that, "oh that would definitely be awesome, I can run by things with Phillip and see if he would be open to further partnership? At the least I'm sure he would love to have you on board and you too Professor," he added to Cutter.

"It would definitely help with the work load if all of us were working on it?" Cutter considered at that, at least that way they would be able to keep an eye on Connor and Propsero without raising too much suspicion.

"Sounds like we have some plans in place at least" Connor grinned, feeling a little better, though he was still worried about the whole Prospero thing and he was worried about Duncan now too...but it was going better than it could have, so he was going to take what he could get. "We will track down Duncan and see what we can find out- and if it's anything that is of interest, we will let you know!"

Connor smiled slightly, rather relieved to hear that, "thanks guys," he said softly, "it means a lot that you're willing to do this and hang out with me, I know how busy things have been here,"

Cutter gave a reassuring smile, "of course we're willing to help, after everything we've been through, we've got to stick together through all these new changes working with Prospero and the ARC,"

"Of course- it doesn't matter how the teams are split up- field work, office work, ARC, Prospero... we are still a team" Connor said with a reassuring nod. "We... we've been worried about you with all the work and all that's been going on... on both sides. A little down time soon might do some good for all of us!"

Connor gave a small smile, “I’m okay, really there’s just a lot that needs to be done,” and then he yawned, “and maybe I do need some sleep,” he admitted sheepishly, “I think the downtimes a good idea,”

“Then we’ll talk to James the next time we see him about using the media room,” Cutter promised, even though he was still worried about Connor maybe this timeline would be different?

"We got you mate" Connor said as he put a hand on his shoulder and gave a gentle squeeze. "I know how it can be, a little down will always be good. We all could use it."

"Thanks guys, truly" the other Connor said with a sincere yet still somewhat sleepy grin. "It would be nice to get a little break and to have a few more hands and brain cells working on things around here," he admitted.

Cutter gave a smile at that, "anything you need us to do to help make this easier for you Connor, we've got you," he assured him, "you don't have to carry this burden alone,"

"You go and get some rest eh?" Connor said with a small nod. "Cutter and I will work out something with Philip and we will be here to help you soon. We're still a team, even with the distance and everything that has happened. We'll figure this out" Connor added as he turned to look at Cutter and gave a small nod.

“And we’ll check in with Duncan and see if we’ll need to alert the ARC about an anomaly sighting,” Cutter promised.

Connor gave a grateful smile, “I really do appreciate this guys,” he yawned, “I think I’ll take you up on that offer for some sleep though,” he said sheepishly.
