Room 110 - Wednesday Late Evening (after the party)

To the surprise of no one, Cutter and Connor had definitely drank too many shots at Summer’s party and after the party had somehow managed to stumble back to their room.

It had taken Cutter a bit to try and open the door but finally they had gotten through and instantly had made a beeline for the bed, “those were some really good shots,” Cutter murmured, wishing the room would stop spinning for a bit.

"Always good jelly shots with Summer around" Connor agreed as he stood in the doorway, trying to stop the spinning feeling as he leaned against the door frame for a moment. Finally he got the door closed and locked behind them and followed after Cutter and headed for the bed. But the room was spinning a bit more than he had realized and he misjudged the distance and ended up on the floor as he missed the bed totally as he sat down. "Oooooffff!"

Cutter looked over where Connor had sat on the floor, "are you alright?" he asked as he tried to get off the bed so he could go and help him, "I'll come and get you, if the room would stop spinning for a moment that is," he groaned.

"No... No... I'm fine..." Connor said as he waved his hand over his head. "The floor's actually not that bad. I... I think I'll just sit here a bit. Til the room stops spinning at least" he said as he looked up at Cuter with a lopsided grin.

Cutter grinned, “I know that feeling,” he admitted as he tried to move to the edge of the bed and reach a hand out for Connor to take, “let me try and help you up,”

This was definitely going to end badly.

It took Connor a minute or two to get his head clear enough to realize he needed to reach out for Cutter's hand if he wanted help up. Still grinning stupidly he grabbed Cutter's hand and started to pull to try and get up off the floor.

Connor was realising that he really should have grabbed onto the edge of the bed or something because as he started to pull Connor up he found himself slipping off the bed as well, he tried to reach out and grab the edge of the bed before he completely fell off and he started giggling.

"Ok, ok... hang on" Connor said as he started to wobble a little as he tried to get up but lost his balance. As he started to fall back he tightened his grip on Cutter's hand. "Ummm... I don't think this is working...." he said as he started giggling as well and looked up at Cutter who was perched precariously on the edge of the bed.

Cutter couldn’t stop giggling as he lay sprawled on the bed, one hand holding the edge and one hand holding Connor’s, “no, I think we might need to rethink this plan,” he looked at Connor with a smile.

"Yeah.. let me... just try... to..." Connor said as he let go of Cutter's hand and tried to push himself up, using the bed to pull himself into a semi- standing position. He did fine till he tried to stand all the way up and started giggling harder as he looked at Cutter sprawled on the bed.

"Ok... I'm fine... I...got this" he said less than convincingly as he started to sway a bit. Connor felt his legs start to give out and the next thing he knew he was flopping onto the bed, ending up in a giggling, blushing, tangled pile on top of Cutter. "hehehe.... ooppps" he said his face turning red from laughing... or ya know, maybe from something else a bit too.

Cutter was giggling even harder as Connor landed on top of him, “hi…” he grinned as he also started going even redder.

"Hey you" Connor said with a laugh as he looked down at Cutter and grinned. He tried to figure out how to move to untangle himself but it was proving to be a little more challenging than he had anticipated. "I ummmm... I'll just stay here a bit... " he said as he weakly tried to shift again to no avail.

“That’s okay,” Cutter assured him, as he smiled up at Connor, still very red, “I don’t mind this, this is nice,”

"It is very nice...." Connor grinned. "You're really comfy" he added as he gently poked Cutter as he looked down at him. In the back of his mind, in a small non-jelly shot-infused part, he remembered how nice it was being with Cutter, the cuddles, the snuggles...And Connor's face flushed all over again.

Cutter felt himself flushing again at that and he reached up to gently stroke Connor's face, "I've missed this," he said softly, "being with you ... like this," he stammered and he went even redder.

"I... I've missed it too" Connor said softly as he found himself leaning into that touch slightly "being together with you... like this..."

Cutter smiled fondly as he kept stroking Connor’s cheek, “I’ve missed us too, I … I loved it when we were together, I’ve missed us being like this, I miss what we had ...”

Connor closed his eyes and just relaxed for a moment, enjoying the feel of Cutter's hand on his cheek and of being close like this again.

"I've missed us too..." he said as he slowly opened his eyes and gave a smile. "I've never stopped missing this... never stopped... wanting this really" Connor said as he shifted slightly and looked at Cutter. "I never really stopped... loving you Nick" he said softly.

Yes he was a little drunk, but he knew what he was saying, It was what he had wanted to say for a while now. He had just always been afraid to lately.

Cutter was definitely a little tipsy too but he still cared very much about Connor and he knew that he still wanted to be with Connor, only he had wanted to give Connor the space he needed after everything that had happened.

"I've never stopped loving you either Connor," he said just as softly, staring up at Connor as he did, "you were the best thing to happen to me, I never stopped wanting what we had either, I ... I do still love you Connor, I always will,"

Connor looked at Cutter for a moment, a soft smile on his face. Then he slowly leaned closer and then kissed Cutter gently on the lips. It was soft, almost shy, and it didn't last long before Connor pulled back, face flushing bright red as he looked at Cutter. "S-sorry if.. I mean... if you didn't...." his voice trailed off as he bit his lip, hoping he hadn't overstepped.

Cutter smiled happily up at Connor, "no, I really loved that," he said shyly and then he leaned forward and gently returned the kiss on Connor's lips.

The grin that was on Connor's face was huge, and he gave a small sigh of relief and moaned softly as Cutter returned the kiss.

"Same... I... I've missed you Nick... I've missed... us..." he whispered softly between the kisses before finally deepening the kiss in return, slipping one hand back to its still familiar feeling spot at the back of Cutter's head.

Cutter moaned as the kiss depended and as Connor's hand returned to that familiar spot behind his head, "I love you Connor," he said as he brought his hands up to Connor's head to gently massage his hair.

"Love you Nick.. " Connor said as he leaned into the kiss. He kept the kiss going, not wanting it to end now that they were finally here.

Cutter was very happy to keep that kiss going and moaned as into the kiss, he had never thought it would be possible for him and Connor to end up like this again and he wanted to try and make the moment last for as long as possible.

Connor moaned happily and kept the kiss going even as he shifted slightly, trying to run his hands down Cutter's back. Between the kissing, the brain fig, and the fluttering in his stomach Connor lost his balance a little and rolled less than gracefully off Cutter. He looked over as he laid beside Cutter and started giggling again as he reached out and still tried to pull Cutter closer.

Cutter took a moment to savour just how nice this really was, being here kissing Connor again and then when Connor ended up rolling off him, he started giggling as well and was very happy to be pulled in closer to Connor.

"Hi..." he said again, giggling as he did.

"Hey... we keep running into each other don't we?" Connor said with a laugh. "Not that I am complaining. This is... nice."

There was that nice word again. Some things really never did change did they?

They really didn't.

Cutter giggled at that, "we do keep running into each other and here we are in the same bed ...its very nice," he said again because apparently nice was the only word he could think of at that point to say.

"Very very nice" Connor said with a grin as he wrapped his arms around Cutter and snuggled closer, resting his head against Cutter's shoulder and sighed.

"I...I'm glad we're doing this... again" he said softly. "I missed this, I missed us."

Cutter smiled as he snuggled in close to Connor, taking a moment to appreciate just how nice this really was, he didn't know if this meant that they were ready to get back together again but for the time being he wanted to just enjoy being with Connor even if was only for the evening.

"I'm glad we're doing this again as well," Cutter said softly as he rested against Connor, "I've really missed being with you Connor, the times we had together ... I'm glad we can spend the evening together,"

Connor was quiet for a little bit, just enjoying the moment. "Nick?" he asked finally, his voice soft and he looked at Cutter then dropped his gaze shyly as he laid his head against Cuter's shoulder again. "I... do you think... maybe we could...give things another go? Between us I mean?"

Cutter hadn't been expecting that question and he looked up at Connor was a warm smile, "I ... I would really love that," he said softly, "I mean, only if you're ready for it ... I ... I don't want to rush you if you're not ready," he added quickly, knowing just how much it had taken for both of them to get to this point.

Connor was quiet as he thought about that, gently running his hand along Cutter's back as he lay there beside him.

"I do want to. I want to be with you Nick. I... want to try and make this work this time. If... if you still want this too that is. I... I'll understand if you say no. But I love you, I know I always will."

Cutter reached up to gently stroke Connor's face, "I do still want this," he said softly, "more than anything, you make me so happy Connor, I love you so much,"

The smile on Connor's face was enough to show how he felt about that. He and Nick had a second chance, another chance to make it work and to be together.

"I..." Connor tried to say something but he couldn't so he pulled Cutter close and kissed him again, letting that response hopefully say more than the halting words he couldn't get out ever could. "I love you too Nick... so much" he whispered as he nuzzled against the side of Cutter's neck.

Cutter's smile was just as wide as he gazed longingly up at Connor, he had dreamed of them having a second a chance but he had thought it would be possible.

He moaned at that kiss, reaching up to stroke Connor's face gently, "I'm so happy we can do this," he said softly, leaning into Connor's nuzzle on his neck, "I won't let you down this time Connor, I promise,"

Connor smiled as he looked at Cutter then closed his eyes, relaxing and just enjoying bein right there in that moment he thought might never actually happen. "I know you won't Nick" he said softly as he started to feel himself drift off. "I won't let you down either..." he said with a sleepy smile as he snuggled in closer.

Cutter smiled happily as he moved in close to Connor, wrapping his arms around him.

"I love you Connor," he said contentedly as his eyes began to close and he started to drift off to sleep, "I love you so much,"
