Baltimore, Maryland - Thursday Lunchtime

Since Becker’s birthday was at the end of June, Connor and Cutter had decided to arrange a special birthday lunch for him and take him to one of the local museums on the mainland and show him their neck of the woods. Plus it was a nice way for both of them to spend time with Becker, since they hadn’t really done that lately with everything going on and since Cutter had gone on his camping trip with Becker the other week.

They were meeting for lunch first, Cutter had been able to print the photo of Becker licking the rock while fossil hunting on their trip and he’d made sure his shirt from shenanigans had been thoroughly cleaned and dried so that he could give it to Becker as well.

“So how are you liking Baltimore so far?” Cutter smiled as they sat at their table.

"Im thinking a few episodes of The Beta for Survivor would be a good way to go... and as far as food.... how about some nice Italian ?" Becker said as he flopped back on the bed, staying to one side to give room for Cutter and Connor to get themselves situated.

"Sounds great," Cutter grinned as sat down on the bed in the middle as he got out his phone so he could start to place the food order, "what dishes should we order? Maybe we could get some nice wine as well,"

If there was no doubt about it before Cutter was definitely losing credit card privileges after all of this.

"Get some nice pasta dishes, bread sticks, the usual" Connor said with a grin. "And definitely some wine too! Sounds good" Connor added as he sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed the remote off the table to hand over to Becker.

"Okay let me place the order," Cutter grinned as he ordered several pasta dishes and bread sticks and of course some very expensive wine that Lester was not going to be happy about reading the charges to his credit card, "I think we can definitely start the evening festivities of watching tv and when the food arrives, eating amazing Italian food," he grinned

Becker flipped through the channels and finally found the one he was looking for. "There we go- and it looks like there's a marathon going for the show, so we should be set for a while!" You guys weren't hoping to watch anything else that night were you?

Cutter smiled as he settled in to get comfortable, "oh reality tv marathons are amazing," he said, "I know I got quite addicted to a few meta for Big Brother marathons," he admitted.

Connor shifted on the bed to try and get comfortable. It was a bit of a challenge trying to find the right spot to see the TV and not fall off the edge of the bed while still giving Cutter enough room. Ya know cuz there was nothing awkward about the arrangement. "I'll just hop up when the food gets here then?

There was definitely nothing at all awkward about this arrangement at all, "I can help you with the food when it gets here," Cutter offered, "so you don't have to carry all of it?"

Becker sat on the bed, obvlivious- or at least pretending to be- to the conversation Cutter and Connor were having. He had found his show and was already getting wrapped up in the episode playing. They were grown adults. They would figure it. Not like he would ever, ever get involved and try to influence things. Never!

Cutter got comfortable in the bed, even if he found himself leaning more against Becker so that Connor could have space on the bed, "the food shouldn't be too long," he said as every now and then he looked up at the tv to see what was happening, there was something quite comforting about reality tv.

"Sounds good! I'm starving.... we done a lot of walking and stuff since lunch" Connor said, totally ignoring the fact that he was almost always ready to eat when food was available.

As they waited for the food, Connor watched the show some, not really getting the appeal of this particular show, but maybe it would grow on him a bit...

Connor smiled at that, "I'm definitely looking forward to it, we had an amazing lunch and now we've going to have an amazing dinner, I must admit I'm quite hungry as well now,"

"Well then Nick, I hope you ordered enough food for all of us" Becker said with a wink. And a few minutes later the knock on the door told them their answer would soon be known.

Connor got up and went to the door. He handed several of the bags to Cutter when he got there and then paid and tipped the delivery guy and carried the rest of the containers over.

"Alright. Let's dig in!" he said with a grin as he sat down at the foot of the bed so he could face Cutter and Connor while they ate.

"Now that sounds like a plan I can get behind!" Becker said with a laugh.

Cutter grinned as they all started to eat their food, "well I hope you've definitely had an amazing birthday celebration Becker, we'll have to start working on how to top it for next year,"

Well at least one thing was for certain, next year's wasn't going to be boring.

"Not sure how you plan to top this one but I will eagerly await next year to see what you both come up with!"

No... Becker... don't say that!

Becker smiled as he looked at where they were- enjoying an amazing day all about him, in the most posh hotel he had ever stepped foot in, at the end of what had definitely been his best birthday celebration ever, with two people he considered some of this best friends, really good food, amazingly terrible reality TV.... he really couldn't think of any way to top this!

Cutter smiled as he settled down to eat his food and continue to watch terrible reality tv ... that was really rather addictive, "we'll definitely get started on planning for next year's, won't we Connor? Don't worry Becker, between the two of us we'll come up with something equally amazing,"

"For sure" Connor said as he enjoyed the food and the company, still marveling at how well everything had gone today. "We'll figure out some way to top all of this."

But for the moment the food, company, and terribly addictive TV shows were enough. And Connor was content to sit and just take it all in, hanging out with Becker and being with Cutter again, almost like old times back when he had first shown up in Fandom.

“Absolutely,” Cutter agreed with a smile, “you deserve all the amazing birthdays Becker, I hope you really did have a wonderful time today,”

Becker nodded in agreement and settled back, leaning against the pillows he had stacked up against the wall and got comfortable, freshly topped off glass of wine in hand.

And so it was, several hours later, the TV was still going and the bottle of wine, now empty, sat on the table by the bed. Becker looked over at Cutter and Connor. They had tried to hold out as long as they could, but somewhere around 1 am or so they had both passed out. He couldn't help but grin as he looked as he looked at them both sprawled out in the bed beside him.

At some point in the evening Cutter had ended up draping his arm around Connor and had ended up snuggled in quite close to him without realising that he'd done it, every now and then he'd let out a contended snore as the bed was really comfortable and it hadn't taken long for him to fall asleep.

Connor had tried to keep to the edge of the bed as best he could. He wanted to give Cutter room and not crowd him or anything. But at some point during the night he had ended up on his back, a bit sprawled out and had unconsciously ended up snuggled against Cutter a bit more than he had probably intended. But he was tired. He was comfortable. and most of all he was happy. So sleep had come easy- despite Cutter's snoring.
