The Pliocene and then the Cretaceous

Cutter wasn't sure how long he had been asleep for but when he woke up sunlight was beaming into the cave, he didn't feel as shocked or cold as he had yesterday and he knew he still wasn't done grieving but he knew this was something that he had to push through, he had to keep busy and productive as they worked on their next move. He wasn't ready to move just yet so he took a few moments to sit there, Connor was still asleep next to him and he didn't want to get up and leave in case Connor woke up. ( It was the last thing they had expected to happen )
