The ARC - Saturday, London

It had been a long and difficult process both mentally and physically but the day had finally happened when Connor and Cutter had been cleared to return to field work and they’d been invited to sit in on their first team meeting to get brought up to speed on what had been happening over the last few months as well as additional day to day ARC operations that Lester wanted to brief the whole team on as part of their normal meetings. It felt weird sitting back at the table in Lester’s office, Cutter had thought that he would never be back here and while the idea of being out in the field still terrified him, it felt good to be cleared to return. His hand went to the dog chains around his neck, clutching them for reassurance. “It’s really nice to be back here, to be part of the team again,” he smiled. ( Cutter should have known that things were going too good )
