The ARC, London

After a very long flight back to London, Cutter, Becker and Connor eventually made it back to the ARC. "It feels so weird to be back here after being away," Cutter remarked as they began to get cleared through security. [preplayed with the amazing anomaly_research_nerd. NFB for distance but OOC welcome!].

Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I know, but it is good to be back. And to stretch after that flight" Connor said as he stretched, his back popping a little as they got their bags out of the truck. "And the place is still standing so I guess Danny didn't burn it down or anything on ya Becker" Connor said with a laugh.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled, "and its nice that we're able to come back to the ARC on our own terms and we don't have to worry about dealing with Christine straight off the bat," he said, he wasn't looking forward to eventually having to deal with Christine again.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"You could say that again" Connor said. "If i never had to see Christine or Wilder again it would be too soon!" Becker nodded in agreement and gave a small shiver, the memories of dealing with them both directly still far too fresh..
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter nodded, "hopefully it will be a long while before we have to see those two again," he said hopefully, "it would be nice to be able to settle into a normal routine for a bit after our trip,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Aye, some time here at the ARC will be nice. Unwind, get into a routine, then get ready to head back to Fandom at the end of the break... It will be good for us I think" Connor said with a grin.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Oh definitely and we can get ready to teach over the summer, we're going to have some amazing stories to tell our students when classes start back up," Cutter said with a smile.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Oh I know!" Connor said excitedly, Between the stories, the photos and the fossils we could do an entire class on the trip pretty much, especially a summer term class!"
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"You know maybe that could definitely be an option," Cutter considered with a smile, "we could even make it a class about paleontology digs and we could take the students on one,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Oh that sounds amazing! We'll definitely have to keep that idea in mind for when we want another class topic!" Connor grinned at Becker. "Could even have Becker come to one class as a guests speaker and then on the visit to the dig site!" .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter grinned, "you wouldn't mind that would you Becker, appearing for a guest lecture at our class, you could tell everyone what your experience was like as someone who doesn't have a palaeontology background,"
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	”I’m not the best public speaker, but for you guys, and a chance to go back to work on rhe dig site some, you bet I'd be ok with it " Becker said with a grin. "Well, I think that pretty much settles it. Now just gotta figure out when to do it" Connor grinned as they headed towards the break room for some much needed coffee!
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled, "we definitely have to do this class," he agreed as they walked towards the break room, "as much as I enjoyed the trip away it will be nice being back with regular tea and coffee making facilities," he admitted.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Amen to that!" Becker said as he quickened his pace a little. " I need an extra strong cup ASAP!" Connor laughed and followed suite, the sound of a coffee and hot cocoa mix sounding really good just then. "Oiy! Becker! Wait up mate" Connor called as he followed after.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter laughed as well as he followed Connor and Becker into the break room, "a cup of tea sounds really good right now as well," he smiled, "and then we can relax a bit before we find the others, assuming they don't find us first," he added.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	Connor nodded as he headed towards the coffee maker in the breakroom and stood behind Becker waiting his turn. "Oh look at it, it's beautiful," he said with a soft sigh. "Makes me want to hug it almost!" Becker laughed and shook his head as he filled his cup with coffee and started adding a lot of cream and sugar. "Not usually my style" he said nodding to the cup in front of him. "But I've missed having something other than plain coffee!" .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter grinned as he went to make a cup of tea, "nice to see the coffee maker is still working," he said as he laughed as well, "even though I don't think any of the team could function without a proper coffee maker," he added.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Yes, of all the things the ARC needs to function, coffee is definitely one of the most vital" Connor agreed as he started making his coffee. "I think if anything happened to the coffee here Danny would be running to the coffee shop down the street for everyone multiple times a day!"
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"You know I would actually really like to see that," Cutter said with a grin, "Danny running to get all the cups of coffee so no one has to miss out,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"I think it would be a little bit of Danny wanting to make sure people don't go without and also partly knowing no one will work and everyone will be in a terrible mood if he doesn't keep them supplied with caffeine!" Becker said with a laugh as he took a drink of his coffee.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter laughed at that as he took a sip of his tea, "that's true, Danny definitely wouldn't want to deal with everyone in a terrible mood if there was a lack of coffee, actually I don't think James would want that either and would make sure to go out and buy a brand new coffee maker,"
Becker(thearcfamily)	"Exactly. There are some expenses worth paying for and a peaceful breakroom and Danny, Sarah, and Abby not going through caffeine withdraws is on of them!" Becker said laughing at the thought of the chaos that would ensue if such a thing happened."
Cutter(itsananomaly)	"Even though it wouldn't surprise me if James has a contingency in place and already has back up coffee makers somewhere," Cutter considered with a grin.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Ya know, be probably does. Lester is a smart man after all!" Connor closed his eyes as he took a long slow drink of the coffee. As great as the trip was it was good to be back to familiar civilization and to have coffee his way again. "Oh yes that hits the spot!" he said with a contented smile.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled as he enjoyed his tea, "at least we still have a few days off before we're due back at work," he said, "gives us a bit of time to get over the jet lag, its a shame we weren't able to portal over to London from South Africa," he sighed.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"I know, we really have gotten spoiled with the portals haven't we?" Connor said with a small lopsided grin. "I know I will be passed out for a good 12 hours or so once I finally do hit the hay." .
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter returned that grin, "I think I'm going to be about the same, as fun as camping under the stars was I am looking forward to being in our comfortable bed," he said shyly to Connor.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Aye will be nice to be in our bed again. And I do believe I owe you a week's worth of bedtime snuggles too" Connor said with a playful grin as he gave Cutter a grin and leaned over and kissed those cheeks that were already turning a very cute shade of red.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	And Cutter's cheeks went even redder after Connor kissed those cheeks, "and I believe I did say that I was going to make it up to you as well,' he said, ducking his head slightly, for the moment forgetting that they had an audience. Sorry Becker.
Becker(thearcfamily)	Becker smiled as he tried not to stare too much as he cleared his throat. "I'm gonna go look for Danny and get a quick update from him before I crash till tomorrow" he said with a small grin as he headed for the door, coffee still in hand. He gave a small wink to Cutter and Connor as he disappeared out the door, leaving them alone in the breakroom.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter's cheeks were quite red at that, "well do you want to drop off our stuff in the office and then make our way back to the house?" he smiled shyly as he finished off the last of his tea.
Connor(anomaly_research_nerd)	"Ya know that sounds amazing" Connor said with a small smile. He finished his coffee and then slipped his arm around Cutter's waist and kissed his cheek softly as they started towards the door.
Cutter(itsananomaly)	Cutter smiled as he leaned against Connor and wrapped his arm around him, this had been a perfect trip but he was looking forward to getting settled back home with Connor and into a normal routine before classes started again.
